Giancarlo Ferrara: fifty years with the Como Bar Association

On 6 December 2023 Giancarlo Ferrara celebrated a rare milestone in the legal profession: fifty uninterrupted years of membership of the Como Bar Association. Half a century of hearings, opinions, negotiations and advice to families and businesses across Como and Lombardy.

A milestone that belongs to the whole firm

The recognition earned by Giancarlo Ferrara is not only personal. It reflects the continuity of a law firm that has practised in Como since 1955 and has preserved the same method generation after generation: deep legal knowledge, a direct relationship with the client and close attention to the economic and social context in which each dispute arises.

A professional career

Admitted to the Bar in 1973, Giancarlo Ferrara has developed cross-cutting experience in civil law, corporate and commercial law and real estate litigation. As a Supreme Court attorney (avvocato cassazionista) he is admitted to plead before the Italian Higher Courts and has represented clients in proceedings concerning contracts, company law and civil liability.

Alongside litigation, a significant part of his work has been preventive advice: contract drafting, corporate transactions, business succession planning and the management of family real estate assets.

The firm in Como since 1955
