Giancarlo Ferrara

Graduated in Law from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan in 1970. In 1973 he joined the firm founded in 1955 by his father, Prof. Giorgio Ferrara, and drove its expansion, building a corporate client base of companies with turnover of up to EUR 150 million and more than 500 employees, operating in Italy and abroad.

He served on the Council of the Como Bar Association from 1978 to 1981; during the 1980s and 1990s he was a member of Como City Council and chaired its Assets Committee, later serving as Vice-President of the local public transport company.

In the non-profit sector he was Vice-President of the Como Provincial Health Mutual for over twenty years. Admitted to the higher courts since 1988, in 2023 he was honoured by the Como Bar Association for fifty years of legal practice.
